Turn your old shoebox into a child’s joyful Christmas present!
Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse does just that! Each year they deliver shoeboxes to children around the world. For many, this is the only gifts they will receive. The children that receive the boxes are also invited to a 12 lesson Bible study called The Greatest Journey where they will learn more about Jesus, the greatest gift of all.
Packing a shoebox is easy. Start with a “wow” object: doll, soccerball, etc. Add in some school supplies and a few hygiene items and you are all set! Your $7 donation will cover the shipping expenses. Then, drop the shoebox off at the nZone by November 20th. The great news is even if you can’t drop off to the nZone you can create an box online (don’t you just love technology!)!
