New Life’s Women’s Ministry is committed to promoting a spirit of unity and authenticity among the women of New Life and in the community. The purpose of the ministry is to help women discover God, and to encourage ongoing spiritual growth. We provide opportunities for women to develop and strengthen friendships with one another through fellowship, study and service activities.
We focus on four things:
- Service – Serving others allows us to connect with other women while making a difference in the community.
- Fun/Fellowship – Building friendships and a sense of community, these provide a great opportunity for women to invite friends and for new NLCC women to get involved in a safe place.
- Personal Growth – Life Groups, Breakfast Book Club, Walking Groups, Prayer Groups – all focused on personal spiritual growth.
- Care Network – A support system for New Life women in times of need, such as new moms or women in crisis.
We are excited about the mission of the New Life Women’s Ministry. If you have questions, suggestions or see a specific area that you would like to get involved with, please .
Women’s Retreat Early Summer 2017
June 9-11, 2017
Registration is now open!
On June 9-11 2017, the New Life Women’s Ministry will be hosting our annual Women’s Retreat. The event runs from Friday evening to just before lunch on Sunday and will be a wonderful time to connect with God and other New Life women. The retreat is open to all ladies, so feel free to invite your friends, as well!
The retreat will be held at Meadowkirk Retreat Center, which is about 40 minutes from New Life Christian Church (Chantilly Campus). Yolanda Stith, Director of New Heart Living, will be our guest speaker. Yolanda will talk to us about “The Rest of God” – finding peace and security in our crazy world. If you’re meeting yourself coming and going; if you’re exhausted just making it through the day with work, family activities, and traffic; or if you just need a break from things; this is the perfect time to get away and recharge and refocus! Click here for the weekend schedule.
You can register between now and May 15, 2017, but register soon as space is limited.Register Now
