Paul’s letters to the New Testament Churches contain timeless truths and practical advice for the New Testament Churches centuries ago. However, these truths are still highly relevant for Christians today. By reading and applying these truths to our lives, we can gain wisdom for living out our faith today. If you haven’t already, take time to read through these passages and share below what stands out to you from them. If you would like some encouragement from past devotionals we have been doing, you can click here.

Here are 3 lessons learned and insights from 1 Timothy 4 – 2 Timothy 4.

You CAN Share about God Today

In 2 Timothy 2 contains strong encouragement to remain faithful to Christ and continue preaching the gospel, despite challenges from false teachers and others. Paul uses vivid examples and reminds believers to focus on eternal rewards. In this devotional from Anna Mari we get encouragement to share God’s Truth with someone else today. Just as Paul encouraged Timothy, we can be encouraged to share about God today.

BibleThe Bible is Useful for So Much

Paul shares in 2 Timothy 3 that although tough times are ahead for Timothy and others, continue following what he has learned from Scripture. Though persecution will come, God’s word remains a firm foundation and we are called to cling to it for wisdom and salvation. Stand on God’s word as attacks against truth intensify. Read the passage and be encouraged in this devotional.

Be Ready to Share God’s Word

2 Timothy 4 reminds us that though seasons change, God’s word remains fixed and true forever. People may turn away from it but we must continue to share God’s word. Of all the truths out there, only God’s word has power to transform hearts and lives. Follow Paul’s example of faithfulness so we can say we have fought the good fight and finished the race. May God’s word be a light to our path always. And, may we always be ready to share it to others. Watch this devotional to be encouraged.
