From 1 Corinthians 12 through 2 Corinthians 3, Paul continues to share encouragement the Church in Corinth to strengthen their faith. If you haven’t already, take time to read through these passages and share below what stands out to you from them. If you would like some encouragement from past devotionals we have been doing, you can click here.

Here are 3 lessons learned and insights from 1 Corinthians 12 – 2 Corinthians 3.

teamworkCombine Your Gifts for Kingdom Work

We are all gifted in different ways. We shouldn’t keep these gifts to ourselves. Rather, as Paul shares in 1 Corinthians 12, we should combine our gifts so that more people can experience Christ and the Kingdom of Heaven can increase. Tom explains more about it in this devotional.

God is the God of Comfort

People describe God and Jesus in many ways. In 2 Corinthians 1, Paul talks about how God is the God of comfort. He comforts those dealing with hardship. And, because He has comforted us in our lives, we can comfort others and share the comfort of Christ to others. See how in the passage and in this devotional.

You are Adequate to Share the Gospel

There are different reasons why we may feel inadequate to share about Christ or our faith to others. However, as Paul talks about it in 2 Corinthians 3, you are more than adequate to share to others. Read through the passage and be encouraged in this devotional as you look for opportunities to share about God.

These are just 3 of the lessons you could have gotten out of from this week’s passages. However, they are not the only ones. What did you get out of reading these passages?
