Being the hands and feet of Jesus

Jesus taught that the two greatest commands are to love God and love people. This July and August we are challenging everyone who calls New Life their church to perform one act of kindness or love for at least one neighbor every week. It could be as simple as inviting them for a drink on your patio, or mowing their lawn, or inviting them to dinner, or bringing up their trash cans, or giving them a small gift, or… well… you get the idea. We simply want you to show kindness, hospitality, or service to your neighbors.

Here’s what we’d like to see you do:

1) Ask God who you should show love to and how
2) Pray for your neighbor
3) Show them God’s love in a practical way

Bonus: Email us and let us know how it went and/or how we can help you the next time.

That’s it. It’s pretty simple. And we truly would love to hear your story so let us know.

We’re praying for you
