New Life welcomes moms with a great opportunity for you to share the joys and challenges of motherhood, and experience the love of Jesus Christ and support of other moms. New Life’s morning MOPS group meets Thursday mornings from 9:30 – 11:30am.
MOPS is a place for mothers of young children (0-5) and expectant mothers to be themselves, to be encouraged, equipped, and develop into the mothers and women that God has intended them to become. Seasoned veterans in motherhood are there to mentor moms and provide insight into discussion topics.
MOMSNext is a ministry to mothers of school-aged children. Often these moms are so busy running to sports practices, music lessons, scouts, and fitting in homework that there is little time to develop lasting relationships and connections with moms experiencing similar life pleasures and stresses. Our Wednesday night group is a combined MOMSNext/MOPS group with discussions and speakers relevant to both life stages.
Join us for MOPS!
We have meetings where expert speakers give us tips for raising our children, loving our husbands, managing our households, and keeping ourselves sane.
Thursday Morning MOPs/MOMSnext Group
Is on break for the summer!
Currently there is no start date for MOPs in the Fall of 2023.
Why?
Because MOPs is looking for their new Leadership Team!
The current leadership team is aging out of MOPs and are ready to move on to other ministries. That means there is an opportunity for new moms to step into leadership roles to keep MOPs going. You would not be leading the group alone. There are a few moms that are ready to step into assistant roles and help with different aspects of the MOPs program. If you are interested in learning more about what this means or are ready to say I’ll help and we can talk about what that looks like!
Welcome to New Life Christian Church’s Thursday morning MOPS/MOMSnext group!
Traditionally MOPS meetings have been time just for moms and we want to encourage this as much as possible. But please feel free to comfort your little ones as needed–we love seeing everyone’s babies! In addition to meetings, we do hope to continue to participate in community service projects and fitness activities together. As well as safe small group playdates and mom’s-night-out.
