John 11:23-25 CSB – “Your brother will rise again,” Jesus told her. Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me, even if he dies will live.”
John 11:43, 44 CSB – After He said this, He shouted with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out bound hand and food with linen strips and with his face wrapped in a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unwrap him and let him go.”
John 11:53 CSB – So from that day on they plotted to kill him.

Psalm 32:3, 4 CSB – When I kept silent, my bones became brittle from my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was drained as in the summer’s heat.
Romans 3:23 CSB – For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23 CSB – For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
John 3:16, 17 CSB – For God loved the world in this way: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

John 11:32 CSB – Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.
John 12:1-3 CSB – Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany where Lazarus was, the one Jesus had raised from the dead. So they gave a dinner for him there; Martha was serving them, and Lazarus was one of those reclining at the table with him. Then Mary took a pound of perfume, pure and expensive nard, anointed Jesus’ feet, and wiped His feet with her hair. So the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
John 10:10 CSB – I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance.
John 20:31 CSB – But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.
Mark 14:9 CSB – Truly I tell you, wherever the gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her.
Matthew 28:18-20 CSB – All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
If you want to live, you must die to self!
John 12:23-25 CSB – Jesus replied to them, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Truly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains by itself. But if it dies it produces much fruit. The one who loves his life will lose it, and the one who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
Jesus demands a response
Galatians 2:20 CSB – I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
