Genesis 1:28-31 CSB – God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and every creature that crawls on the earth.”29 God also said, “Look, I have given you every seed-bearing plant on the surface of the entire earth and every tree whose fruit contains seed. This will be food for you30 for all the wildlife of the earth, for every bird of the sky, and for every creature that crawls on the earth — everything having the breath of life in it — I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good indeed. Evening came and then morning: the sixth day.
Genesis 2:15 CSB – The LORD God took the man and placed him in the garden of Eden to work it and watch over it.
Genesis 2:16-17 CSB – And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree of the garden17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for on the day you eat from it, you will certainly die.”
Genesis 3:17-19 CSB – And he said to the man, “Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘Do not eat from it’: The ground is cursed because of you. You will eat from it by means of painful labor all the days of your life.18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.19 You will eat bread by the sweat of your brow until you return to the ground, since you were taken from it. For you are dust, and you will return to dust.”
Romans 8:20-22 CSB – For the creation was subjected to futility — not willingly, but because of him who subjected it — in the hope21 that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage to decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children.22 For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together with labor pains until now.
Romans 8:28 CSB – We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.
Job 42:5 CSB – had heard reports about you, but now my eyes have seen you.
