Luke 17:11-12 CSB – While traveling to Jerusalem, he passed between Samaria and Galilee.12 As he entered a village, ten men with leprosy , met him. They stood at a distance

Luke 17:13 CSB – and raised their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us! ”

Luke 17:14 CSB – When he saw them, he told them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And while they were going, they were cleansed.

Luke 17:15-16 CSB – But one of them, seeing that he was healed, returned and, with a loud voice, gave glory to God.16 He fell facedown at his feet, thanking him. And he was a Samaritan.

Luke 17:17-19 CSB – Then Jesus said, “Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?18 Didn’t any return to give glory to God except this foreigner? ”19 And he told him, “Get up and go on your way. Your faith has saved you.”

Joy is the fruit of thankfulness.

Proverbs 17:22 CSB – A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 CSB – Rejoice always17 pray constantly18 give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 118:1 CSB – Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his faithful love endures forever.

Nehemiah 8:10 CSB – Then he said to them, “Go and eat what is rich, drink what is sweet, and send portions to those who have nothing prepared, since today is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, because the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

1 Timothy 4:3-4 CSB – They forbid marriage and demand abstinence from foods that God created to be received with gratitude by those who believe and know the truth.4 For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving
