When Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines, my family and relatives were one of the affected people left homeless and their livelihood damaged. Praise God that no lives were taken. Basic necessities, Food and water were scarce. With a tarp above their head and a wall that withstood the typhoon they were able to have shelter.
I reached out to the church for help. New life has responded and gave generously. Prayers were also shared and offered. I was able to send the monetary aid to my family and relatives.
They are starting to rebuild their houses and plant some crops for the next harvest. Below are some of the pictures of the devastation as well as the rebuilding of houses. One family was able to write a “thank you” sign to New Life. Three Families were helped by the monetary aid New Life church has extended.
We are forever grateful. Thank you for caring. God Bless everybody who gave and prayed. Thank you New Life for being an instrument of God’s blessings. I will send updates as they come. Please continue to pray for “carpenter availability in the area” pray for their health and crops to grow. Most importantly, please pray for salvation.
