In 2012 a group of people at New Life Christian Church wanted to help provide food and other support for children in the Meadows Community. Since then, Camp KidZone at the nZone has become a wonderful experience for both the nZone and the Meadows Community. Hundreds of children and families have been positively impacted by Camp and other activities the nZone and New Life Christian Church have partnered to provide for the Meadows Community.
This year, starting June 17th and lasting until August 16th, we have a great opportunity to serve the Meadows community again when New Life hosts camp for K-6th graders. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the summer, volunteers will play with kids and share the love of Christ with them. By simply investing time with them and helping them have an amazing summer, caring teens and adults can have a lasting impact in these kids lives. If you are looking to help with Camp KidZone at the nZone this summer but can’t make it out during the day to help, there are other ways to serve. One of them is to provide food donations so that we can make lunches for the students throughout the summer. Our list of food needs change from week to week. This is the current list for the upcoming weeks.
The summer months always provide a variety of great opportunities for fun and making memories. The great news is by serving and Deploying at Camp KidZone at the nZone this summer you can do both while also impacting the lives of children and families in the area. How will you help?
