One Way to Start the New Year Strong

With the end of one year comes the start of a new year! With the start of a new year provides us new opportunities for a fresh start! It provides us with a fresh opportunity to begin anew. 

In John 10:10, Jesus says that He has come to give us life and life to the full. In order for that to happen, we to get to know Him and follow Him daily. It doesn’t matter what happened in the past, when we choose to follow and obey God, we have a full plate of opportunities to become a new creation in Him.

But how can you do that? How can you get to know Jesus more after the fresh start? With can you do? The great news is that New Life provides different ways for you to grow closer to God.  One way to get started is to read the Bible daily.

Text Groups – We have 2 plans to start the new year:

• Bible in a Year – Read through the Bible in a year this year. Text the word “Bible” to 703-454-5990 and you will receive a list of daily readings to do sent to your phone so you can read each day.
• Genesis – Read a chapter of Genesis daily and get a short video devotional. Simply text “Genesis” to 703-454-5990 to be part of it. 

Family Devotionals – Start the new year by growing in your faith as a family. You will get a family Bible reading, short devotional and a question to discuss as a family emailed to you every morning for you to do as a family. Click this link to get those emails.
