Paul’s letters to the New Testament Churches (otherwise known as the Pauline Epistles) provide important teachings about theology, ethics, church order, eschatology, and apostolic authority in the early Christian movement. They form a significant part of the New Testament in the Bible. If you haven’t already, take time to read through these passages and share below what stands out to you from them. If you would like some encouragement from past devotionals we have been doing, you can click here.

Here are 3 lessons learned and insights from Colossians 3 – 1 Thessalonians 4.

An Example of a Biblical Household

What does a Biblical household look like? What are the roles of a father, mother and children? Pauls shares about it in this devotional. Read Colossians 3 and examine where you house stands. Is it following an example of a Biblical household? What do you need to do to align your house more to what the Bible says?

thankfulShare Your Thankfulness for Others

What are you thankful for? Who are you thankful for? When was the last time you let your friends or those close to you know you are thankful for them? Take time to read 1 Thessalonians 1 today and watch this devotional. Then, make sure you make time today to thank those around you that you are thankful for.

Ministry is Great with Partners

As rewarding and life changing as ministry can be, doing it alone can be hard. Paul and the early disciples never did ministry alone. They were always preparing, training others. Timothy was one of Paul’s partners who he would send from place to place. Paul talks about him in 1 Thessalonians 3. Read the passage and watch this devotional, Then, take time to pray that God would reveal a ministry partner you can equip to do ministry alongside of you.

These are just 3 of the lessons you could have gotten out of from this week’s passages. However, they are not the only ones. What did you get out of reading these passages?
