Thoughts From Ecuador
January 26, 2016
Did you know we helped plant a church in Ecuador? Not only that, we have taken two mission trips so far to visit all the Compassion kids we sponsor at that church. In fact, New Lifer’s sponsor about 100 kids from the church! Here’s how it works. We partnered with two church planting organizations to start the church. We also partnered with Compassion International to open a new Compassion Center providing practical care for the kids including food, tutoring, and health services. It’s a huge win for the community to have a healthy church where there was none and have about 150 children cared for at the Center.
This Fall, we have scheduled another trip to visit the kids from November 4 – 11, 2016. We also plan on going the following year from July 28 – August 4, 2017. To help us start thinking about the 2016 trip to Ecuador, we will be posting Amanda Pennel’s thoughts from her trip to Ecuador in 2015. While she traveled with the team last year, she wrote to her supporters daily about her experience.

Please prayerfully consider going with us on a future trip. You can’t imagine the impact you’ll have on the children you meet. And if you already sponsor a child in Ecuador, you’ll be able to meet him or her. That’s great stuff.
