Want a Lasting Marriage?

One of my favorite blogs is The Art of Manliness. You can learn a lot about what it means to be a man, a Christian man at that, by following this blog. In fact, I bought my favorite mug from them. A recent post struck me as particularly interesting since healthy marriages is a soap box for me. In fact, let me encourage you to register for the Art of Marriage conference later this month.

But, I digress. In his recent post he gave three lessons for a great marriage. In a nutshell they are:

Men and women are equal in their intrinsic sense of identities and in their value as human beings, but they are different in how they approach the world.
Nothing else in life that’s worth doing happens without effort. {why should we expect marriage to}
Marriage ages just like a fine wine.
