Road to Redemption Daily Bible Reading

Build a Bible reading habit!

Leading up to Easter, we will take 42 days to read stories of Redemption found in the Bible. As the study begins, the readings and devotions will focus on why we need to be redeemed. Then taking a look at redemption stories in the Bible, we will learn more about the redemptive nature of God. Finally, leading up to Easter we will read the stories of Holy week through the Ascension of Jesus.

Daily texts:
To encourage the spiritual discipline of Bible reading, we have set up a text group! Each day you will receive the daily scripture and a short devotional video sent right to your phone! Join today by texting “Easter” to 703-454-5990.

Want to discuss what you are reading?
We have set up a Facebook group to do just that! Join the groups here and be part of the daily discussion.

Bible reading tips:

Ever feel like you just can’t understand what it says or what it means? Try reading a modern translation such as the CSB, ESV, or NLT. Each translation tries to balance staying true to the original meaning with being readable in today’s English vernacular. We find the ESV to balance these well. The NLT is even easier to read but loses some of the power and depth of meaning found in the ESV.

Whatever translation you chose, the important part is to get in the Bible every day. Before reading ask God to help you to understand what you read. Then sit back, read the daily reading in your Bible or using the links below, and trust God to teach you something about His love for you.
