Rick Warren’s Interview…

Most of you are probably aware that Rick Warren is a very prominent pastor and author. Not long ago his son who suffered from mental illness committed suicide. It has been a tough journey for the Warren’s as they’ve walked this difficult path in the public spotlight. They just completed their first media interview and I feel it’s worth reading… especially given our sermon this past Sunday and the events of yesterday.
Long answer short? Mental illness is a physiological issue. Sometimes life stinks. God is good. Our hope comes from him.
