1 Corinthians 5:1-2 NIV – It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that even pagans do not tolerate: A man is sleeping with his father’s wife. 2 And you are proud! Shouldn’t you rather have gone into mourning and have put out of your fellowship the man who has been doing this?

1 Corinthians 5:5-7 CSB – hand that one over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord. Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little leaven[b] leavens the whole batch of dough? Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new unleavened batch, as indeed you are.

2 Corinthians 2:5 CSB – If anyone has caused pain, he has caused pain not so much to me but to some degree—not to exaggerate—to all of you.

2 Corinthians 2:6 CSB – This punishment by the majority is sufficient for that person.

2 Corinthians 2:7 CSB – As a result, you should instead forgive and comfort him. Otherwise, he may be overwhelmed by excessive grief.

Galatians 6:1 CSB – Brothers and sisters, if someone is overtaken in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual, restore such a person with a gentle spirit, watching out for yourselves so that you also won’t be tempted.

Matthew 7:1-2 CSB“Do not judge, so that you won’t be judged. For you will be judged by the same standard with which you judge others, and you will be measured by the same measure you use.

Matthew 7:3-5 CSBWhy do you look at the splinter in your brother’s eye but don’t notice the beam of wood in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the splinter out of your eye,’ and look, there’s a beam of wood in your own eye? Hypocrite! First take the beam of wood out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to take the splinter out of your brother’s eye.

2 Corinthians 2:8 CSB – Therefore I urge you to reaffirm your love to him.

2 Corinthians 2:9 CSB – I wrote for this purpose: to test your character to see if you are obedient in everything.

2 Corinthians 2:10-11 CSBAnyone you forgive, I do too. For what I have forgiven — if I have forgiven anything — it is for your benefit in the presence of Christ11 so that we may not be taken advantage of by Satan. For we are not ignorant of his schemes.
