Isaiah 53:3-5, 7, 12b ESV – 
3 He was despised and rejected by mankind,

yet we considered him punished by God,

Psalm 16:9-10 NIV 84 – “Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay.”

John 15:10-12 ESV – If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. 11 These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
