in all your ways know him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Don’t be wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord and turn away from evil.

Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart, and lean not on YOUR own understanding.

  1. What does the Bible say?

Wisdom’s ways are pleasant ways and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, and happy are those who hold on to her.

  1. Have you prayed about it?

God is waiting to hear from you and give you wisdom. James says that anyone who lacks wisdom should ask his brother who gives to all generously and without reproach. God cares about your decisions and he promises to guide you.

  1. Have you surrendered your will to God’s will.

Are you doing what you want to do, or are you doing what God wants you to do?

If we are rebellious in those things we know we should do, how can we expect to hear from the one we are rejecting?

  1. Make a decision and take responsibility for the decision.
