The Good News Reported: Jesus is God with Us

2 Peter 1:16 CSB – For we did not follow cleverly contrived myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; instead, we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

Luke 1:3-4 CSB – So it also seemed good to me, since I have carefully investigated everything from the very first, to write to you in an orderly sequence….. so that you may know the certainty of the things about which you have been instructed.

Matthew 1:16 CSB – and Jacob fathered Joseph the husband of Mary, who gave birth to Jesus who is called the Messiah.

Hebrews 11:31 CSB – By faith Rahab the prostitute welcomed the spies in peace and didn’t perish with those who disobeyed.

James 2:25-26 CSB – …. wasn’t Rahab the prostitute also justified by works in receiving the messengers and sending them out by a different route? For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

A Genealogy of Hope 

Matthew 1:17 CSB – So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations; and from David until the exile to Babylon, fourteen generations; and from the exile to Babylon until the Messiah, fourteen generations.

Luke 4:18-19a, 21 CSB – The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
