Joseph never had it easy. While he was Jacob’s favorite son, he was sold into slavery in Genesis 37. Then, even as he succeed in Genesis 39 by finding favor with Potiphar, Potiphar’s wife got Joseph sent to prison. Despite it all, God was still with Joseph and enabled him to succeed. God can use you no matter where you are

genesisBetween the time Joseph was sold into slavery as a teenager and when he became 2nd in command of all of Egypt, he was a slave or in jail. Those were not very favorable situations for him. However, he kept trusting God and remained faithful to Him. And through all those times, he continued to be used by God. See how in this devotional. No matter where you are or what your situation is, seek God and be open to how He wants to use you. I’m sure Joseph didn’t imagine he would be helping people in prison.
