In the New Testament Paul wrote to the different Churches, encouraging them and challenging them in their faith. In all, he wrote a total of 13 letters to these Churches. We have been going over these letters, just finishing up reading Romans. To see some lessons learned from the past few chapters of Romans, click here.

This past week we read Romans 14-1 Corinthians 4. If you haven’t already, take time to read through these passages and share below what stands out to you from them. Here are 3 lessons learned and insights from these chapters.

There is Hope found in Jesus

Did you know that we worship a God of HOPE? In Romans 15, Paul talks about how the God we worship is a God of HOPE and peace. Take time to read Romans 15, watch this devotional, embrace the HOPE found in Christ alone, and share that HOPE with others today!

Let the Holy Spirit Guide You

In 1 Corinthians 2 we see Paul being moved by the spirit to share God’s word to others. Sharing your faith can be intimidating. But, if we let the Holy Spirit move and guide in our life and in sharing opportunities, we can be successful in sharing about Jesus to others. Take time to be encouraged in this devotional about how you can let the Holy Spirit lead you. And, the next time you need guidance in life or how to share your faith, pray and let the spirit speak through you.

teamworkYou Can Partner with Christ

As much as we would like our sharing about Jesus lead to immediate spiritual transformation, it doesn’t always happen this way. What we have to do is to think of ourselves as co-workers and partners with Christ in the mission. Paul talks about this in 1 Corinthians 3. See how you can be part of this partnership in this devotional.

These are just 3 of the lessons you could have gotten out of from Romans 14-1 Corinthians 4. They are not the only ones. What did you get out of reading these passages?
